Andy Gonzalez is an Associate Attorney with BAM Personal Injury Lawyers. Prior to joining the firm, Andy worked as a Deputy District Attorney with the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office. His practice focused primarily on the prosecution of homicide, special victim, and major crash cases. Andy took pride in advocating for victims of crime and will continue to fight for victims as a member of the BAM team. In addition to his time as a prosecutor, Andy worked at one of Utah's largest personal injury firms, Craig Swapp & Associates, where he managed a robust pre-litigation caseload. Over the last few years, Andy has volunteered on the Executive Board of the Utah Minority Bar Association (UMBA). He recently served as the 2023-24 UMBA President and is now serving as the Past President.

Andy was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. In 2010, Andy moved to Utah to attend Brigham Young University (BYU) where he majored in political science. He subsequently attended the BYU - J. Reuben Clark Law School and graduated cum laude in 2016. Upon graduation, Andy clerked for Judge Ryan Harris and Judge Laura Scott at the Utah Third District Court.

In his spare time, Andy enjoys golfing, weightlifting, basketball, and spending time with his family and friends.
